Photographer, Podcaster, and Blogger Brigit has degrees in Sociology (B.S.), Japan Studies (double major), and Korea Studies (M.A.) from Montana State and the University of Washington. She used to want to be an academic, studying the anthropology of tourism in North Korea, and worked in North Korean tourism in China for a time. But life has a funny way of changing your trajectory and now she mostly uses those degrees to make niche jokes about history.

Based out of Missoula, Montana, she spends the majority of her time photographing people and pretty places at lifeasavoyager.org, travelling all over Montana, the greater Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and wherever else the spirit (and paying clients) take her.

She moonlights as a podcaster as a member of the Sickos Committee, a self-described depraved group of sports fans. In reality, it’s a fun-loving group of people who love the silliness of sport and not taking anything too seriously.

When she’s not exploring, behind a camera, wrangling her semi-feral children, or watching some sport or another, she’s a writer, usually about one of the above topics.
