With boundless enthusiasm, energy, and an endless need to create, I’ve come to working as part of the Sickos Committee, producing video series, recording podcasts, and covering live sports.
Shoutout to Sports
Sports are my favourite outlet. As much as I adore client work, I love the creative expression and technical challenges that come with photographing and filming sports. From college football to hurling (look it up), sports anchor my year.

Capturing how it felt
Sports are a communal experience that brings people together. Live sports in particular put people from disparate walks of life all together in one place cheering for one common goal: victory.
With each event I cover, I aim to capture not just what happened during the game but how it felt to be there. What was the fan experience like? How loud did the crowd pop for that touchdown? What happened when that team got the buzzer beater to win the tournament over their hated rival?
There’s nothing like live sports.
There’s nothing like film.
Whether it’s 35mm or medium format still film or Super 8 video, nothing can replicate that vintage, grainy feel.
Film is timeless. A film photo I take today can look like it was taken in the 1950s because I shot it on a camera manufactured in Eastern Europe in the 1950s. Film grounds moments in time.
And when it comes to capturing how an event felt, there’s nothing better than Super 8. Like your favourite silent movie, Super 8 records snippets of time and stitches them together with a gorgeous grain.
